It came much to my surprise this evening to see Chelsea have been linked with a summer move for Tottenham keeper Heurelho Gomes. The 28-year old has done little to impress since he moved to White Hart Lane last summer for a fee believed to be £7.8 million so why London's Evening Standard have reported this is just beyond me.Ok, current Chelsea number one Petr Cech hasn't been too convincing of late but he is still considerably better than Gomes no matter what way you look at it. Maybe I am being a bit harsh on Gomes, but for a player of his ability to be linked with one of the best sides in Europe is a joke.
