Everton has this afternoon completed the signing of
Manchester City striker
Jo on a five-month
loan deal. The
Brazilian international has
failed to impress during his time at
Eastlands since his
£19 million move from
CSKA Moscow last summer and now
David Moyes has decided to take him to
Goodison Park.
The
21-year old made just a handful of appearances at City, with
Mark Hughes deciding to buy
Craig Bellamy last month in order to get the goals. Jo will provide
much needed cover up front for the Toffees with
Yakubu and
Louis Saha both out of action for some time.
Although I am
not much of a fan of Jo's, I suppose he is
better than nothing for Everton. It was clear for everyone top see that it
wasn't working for him at City and maybe he will start
banging in the goals at Everton. Stay tuned to
Football Corner for all the latest transfer news over the next few hours.
